Medicare covers medically necessary chiropractic spinal adjustments to correct a subluxation, and we bill Medicare directly. Medicare does not cover acupuncture or dry needling performed by a chiropractor, and it does not cover spinal decompression or X-rays ordered by a chiropractor either; those are billed as self pay.
