The two causes we treat together
Crash injuries come from two directions at once: joints in the neck and back locked down by the impact, and soft tissue torn or strained around them. The adjustment restores motion to the joint. Acupuncture and dry needling release the guarding and support healing with normal fiber rather than scar. Doing only one is why so many crash injuries never fully resolve. How the treatment plan works
The adjustment restores motion at the levels the impact locked down. Acupuncture and dry needling release the trigger points and muscle tension that keep pulling those joints back out of alignment. Corrective exercise teaches the tissue to hold the change, and a posture evaluation catches the compensation patterns a crash leaves behind. Every visit is with Dr. Legg, and every finding goes in the record.
Documentation your claim depends on
An injury that is not documented is, for the purposes of a claim, an injury that did not happen. Each visit records your findings, your treatment, and your progress, and records are sent to your attorney or the insurer on request. We coordinate with your attorney throughout your care. Documentation matters as much as treatment in these cases, so it is done properly from the first visit.
What does it cost if I was in a car accident?
In most Arizona personal injury cases, care is billed to the claim rather than to you: to the at-fault driver's insurance, to MedPay, or on a lien through your attorney. Coverage varies by case and by policy. We verify how your care will be billed before treatment begins and explain plainly anything you would owe. Does Medicare cover care after a car accident?
Medicare covers medically necessary chiropractic spinal adjustments only. Acupuncture and dry needling performed by a chiropractor are not covered by Medicare and are billed as self-pay. When is a crash injury not a case for this office?
Chest pain, trouble breathing, loss of consciousness, repeated vomiting, weakness or numbness spreading through the arms or legs, a change in bladder or bowel control, or a severe headache unlike any you have had belongs in emergency care first, not here. That is not a diagnosis, it is the line where you should be seen somewhere else before you see us. If anything in your history points that way, we will tell you at the examination.
