What does the $49 first visit include?
For new self pay patients, $49 covers the consultation, the examination, digital X-rays if they are clinically necessary, your first adjustment, and your first acupuncture and dry needling treatment. The $49 offer does not apply to Medicare, auto or personal injury, or workers compensation.
Does Medicare cover chiropractic in Sun City?
Yes, for the adjustment. We accept Medicare and most major insurance plans. Medicare covers the medically necessary chiropractic spinal adjustment only. Acupuncture and dry needling performed by a chiropractor are not covered by Medicare and are self pay. Decompression and X-rays ordered by a chiropractor are not covered by Medicare either. Because so many Sun City patients are on Medicare, we explain what is covered and quote anything that is not before treatment begins, so nothing on your bill is a surprise. Individual results vary.
