What to expect on your first visit
Your first visit covers a consultation, a full examination, and digital X-rays if they are clinically necessary, followed by care when it is appropriate. Dr. Legg explains what he finds and the treatment plan in plain English, with any cost in writing, before anything is treated. Do you take insurance?
Yes. We accept Medicare and most major plans, and we verify your benefits before your visit. New self pay patients can start with the $49 first visit. The $49 first visit does not apply to Medicare, auto accident or personal injury cases, or workers' compensation. More detail is on our insurance page.
Can my whole family be seen on the same day?
Yes. Many families book back to back, so a parent and a child, or a husband and wife, are seen in one trip. Each person still gets a full examination and a treatment plan of their own, and each visit is kept separate for insurance and records. Call (623) 214-7600 and we will line the visits up for you.
How long does a visit take?
A first visit takes about 45 minutes, including the consultation, the examination, and care when it is appropriate. Visits after that are shorter, usually 5 to 15 minutes depending on the services in your treatment plan. Arrive about 15 minutes early for your first visit so the paperwork does not cut into your time with Dr. Legg.
What if chiropractic is not right for me?
Then Dr. Legg tells you on day one and points you to who can help, whether that is your primary care doctor, a specialist, imaging, or urgent care. An honest answer is part of the first visit, even when the answer is not chiropractic.
Do I need a referral?
